Labor & Immigrants of Paterson Tour, May 8th, 2019
The Museum is proud to offer a "Labor & Immigrants of Paterson" bus tour on Wednesday, May 8th, 2019. Educators and the general public are invited to register for this historical tour. Educators who attend will receive a Professional Development Certificate.
On Wednesday, May 8th, 2019, the event begins at 9AM with a guided tour of the American Labor Museum/Botto House National Landmark. Immediately afterwards, participants will board the bus at the entrance of the Botto House. Period-costumed guides protraying Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) organizers Elizabeth Gurley Flynn and Patrick Quinlan guide visitors around sites significant to the 1913 Paterson Silk Strike, including stops at the Great Falls, Paterson Museum, and Lambert Castle Museum. An Italian-American brown-bag lunch will be provided en route. The bus will return to the American Labor Museum/Botto House by 1PM.
The bus tour fee of $20 for Museum members and $25. for non-members includes admission to three museum and lunch.
